Brothel Kept Women in Dog Cages

According to
Hanoi – Vietnamese police have arrested seven people in a raid on a brothel with up to 90 prostitutes who said they had been beaten and sometimes locked in dog cages, media reports said on Monday.

The women at the Ho Chi Minh City massage parlour, many from poor rural areas, were forced to perform sexual acts on customers for up to 18 hours a day, reported the Cong An Nhan Dan (People’s Police) newspaper.

The women at the Tan Hoang Phat parlor, which was raided on Saturday night, told police that women who refused to follow their pimps’ orders would be beaten or left without food in dog cages, the police-run paper said.
