Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We want to thank you for your support over this past year. We have many things to be grateful for entering 2009.

The following accomplishments would not have been possible without your support:

  • Trained 42 girls in jewelry design
  • Provided 6 girls with advanced training in semi-precious jewelry
  • Established savings accounts for all 42 girls
  • Attended 18 sales events over the past two months
  • First sale in India where survivors were able to attend
  • Participated in Alternative Christmas markets in from Santa Cruz to San Diego
  • Articles published in the Orange County Register, Golden West College magazine
  • Featured on a news station, blogs, and newsletter as the option for purposeful gifts
  • Joined Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force Coalition
  • Received 501c3 non-profit status

With the great success of this past season, we are excited for all the opportunities for people to get involved. If you are looking to serve in your local area and have a few hours to give there are a variety of ways to serve.

Wonderful article in the Register. Great press for Stephanie and Wendy. I had many people wanting to know if I was related to this wonderful young woman. How blessed the girls of Mumbai are to have Wendy, Stephanie and I Sanctuary.
