Outlawing the purchase of sex must be considered, says ICI

Today is EU anti-trafficking day and the Immigrant Council of Ireland is calling for increased support for victims of the sex trade.

 The latest research shows that 79% of all human trafficking is for the illegal sex industry.

Countries such as Sweden and Norway have seen a decrease in trafficking since they criminalised the purchase of sexual services and support groups here want the government to follow the lead of those countries.
